It was a small start to the summer camp as many are still in school. But Big progress was made by those that attended!
Kimberly won the prize for best Sportswoman and Andrew won the prize for most improved. Thanks to the others who attended! It was a great week!

We had another big week this week.... but with a fantastic bunch of juniors who allowed it all to run smoothly. Once again we saw a great improvement in many of our players. This week the most improved prize went to William Constan. Congratulations Will! The prize for best sportsman once again was won by a lady.... congratulations to Brook Schaffer!

We had a great week again at Doral. A slightly smaller group but a great group. The most improved this week was Marissa Miller followed very closely by her brother Ben Miller! Congratulations to both of you.
The prize for best Sportsman was won by Josh Shiparo. Congratulations Josh.....

Also a regular junior of ours won a junior met tournament at Sleepy Hollow this week!!

We had another full and busy week at Doral Arrowwood. We were very lucky with the weather again... On Friday it looked awful until just before our 9am start ..... when it stopped raining until 12.20 as the last person left! How lucky is that!
The was a lot of good effort made this week with the golf swings and we saw all the juniors continue to improve.
The most improved however was Beatrix Panitz. Well done Beatrix!
The prize for best sportsman this week went to Nick Stagg.... Congratulations Nick
Also a big Congratulations to one of our Instructors Brian Lamberti who won the NY State Open this week!!!

It was a great week at Doral Arrowwood. Although we had a sad day on Wednesday when Cameron Jope left for China...
We’ve watched Cameron grow into a great young golfer and have enjoyed having him in our programs throughout the year... He’s going to be missed by instructors and his friends alike... Good luck in China Cameron!
On an exciting note one of our Instructors.... Brian Lamberti won the New York State Open this week.... he birdied the last three holes to take the lead!! Congratulations Brian!
Our instructors found it hard to choose the most improved player of the week as so many juniors did such a good job this week... In the end 3 juniors won the prize. Congratulations for your good efforts...
The prize for best sportsman went to a woman again.... well done Sere!

Another big week... and great week... Excuse the over exposed picture.
The winner of Best Sportsman when to John Rehor a talented young player who was visiting from Germany, bottom right picture. The most improved prize went to Aya and Bradley McCarthy who both improved dramatically in the 3 weeks that they attended.... they are bottom left. Well done to all of you!

We had a full and fun week this. The weather was fantastic and a good time was had by all. The winner of most improved this week went to a duo: Mac and Chris Husted who over the last 2 weeks have made a massive improvement in their swings...... we also enjoyed having them at camp....well done and thanks......
The prize of best sports man this week goes to tyler Chapman. Well done Tyler!

Our first week of full camp got off to a great start... We had a large group this week who all made a great effort to improve..
The winner of Best Sportsman this week was actually a best Sportswoman.. Madison Friedman proved herself to not only be a promising young golfer but also stood out to win this prize. Congratulations Madison.....
The winner of the most improved prize went to Jack Hochman who from day one showed a big improvement which continued throughout the week... Well done Jack!

We managed to beat the rain this week and had a full week of golf.... There were only 5 juniors this week... sorry Jessica missed the photo! Once again the prize of best sportsman went to Drew Tomback! Well done Drew! The most improved was without a doubt Jessica Yacabucci.... Who is making some great pars on the golf course and preparing for more birdies! Well done Jessica... we heard from the instructors about how great some of your shots were... Once again a good opportunity for some to be in a small group for the intro weeks of camp. Next week regular camp starts and the numbers increase....

June 15th 2009 Intro to Summer Camp at Doral Arrowwood

We got off to a good start at the intro to camp this week... the first 2 weeks are an intro as we only added them at the last minute.... it was a good opportunity for a lucky few to be in a smaller group....
This week we had 9 avid young golfers in attendance ranging from 8 years old to 14.
The rain did get the better of us as well as the NY Open on Thursday but most are already making up their missed day or scheduled to do so shortly! There’s always another day to make up!
The prize this for best sportsman this week goes to Drew Tomback. (Bottom Right)
The prize for the most improved goes to Meredith Keller for the girls and Anthony Johnson for the boys.... They both made great progress with their swing ...
