                                Summer Camp Rules 2009

1.SAFETY....... The most important aspect of the Mitchell Spearman Junior Golf Program is safety.

2.RESPECT..... Please show respect towards instructors and fellow camp participants. Treat others the way you would like to be treated yourself and please remove caps and shake hands after all matches/contests.

3.DRESS CODE...... Collared golf shirts are required at all times. Please keep shirts tucked in during camp hours. We also ask that you refrain from wearing hats at the lunch table.

4.NO FOUL LANGUAGE... The Mitchell Spearman Junior Golf Program has zero-tolerance policy for foul language.

5.PROTECT THE GOLF COURSE...... When playing the golf course, please replace all divots and repair ball marks. Disrespecting the golf course will not be tolerated. No Running on the golf course. 2008 USGA Rules of Golf will govern all play throughout camp.

If the camp rules are ignored by a junior they will first be talked to by the instructors, if this has no effect they will  receive a further warning.... either by a phone call or a letter. The next time they behave in an inappropriate way we will have no choice but to suspend them from camp. The time of suspension will depend on the behavior in question. There will be no refunds made for a junior who leaves camp due to suspension.





Camp Policies Summer 2009:

The Mitchell Spearman Junior Golf Camp does not refund cancelations after May 15th.

Before May 15th there will be a $150 cancellation fee for all refunds.


Increment Weather.


A rain day will be called if there is an excess of 3 hours of heavy rain. We will however always have Instructors present for the full day in case there are some juniors who cannot leave early. In the event of a rain day you will be able to schedule another day during camp for your junior to make up. This must be pre arranged with Joanna. You can call or email to schedule your day.... If we have an excess of rain days we will add on make up days at the end of camp.

Please notify us if your junior will have a day absent from camp. We do not give make up days for absentees.
